About Silock
Most of us carry things on our phones that we’d never want to show by accident. Silock is a calm, private place for them.
Why Silock exists
The usual options weren’t good enough. The Hidden album opens with your iPhone passcode. Many vault apps want an account, show ads, or quietly track how you use them, which is an odd thing for a privacy app to do.
Silock takes the opposite approach. There’s no account to make. Everything is encrypted on your iPhone. There are no servers of ours to be hacked, because we don’t run any. And instead of one hidden album, you get silos you name yourself, so the right things stay apart.
How we build it
- Only standard methods. AES-256-GCM, PBKDF2 and HKDF, through Apple’s own cryptography. Nothing home-made. Read how it works.
- No third-party code. No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, in the app or on this website.
- Honest limits. We say what Silock can’t protect against, not just what it can.
- No fake features. If something isn’t built yet, Silock doesn’t pretend it is, and neither does this site.
Paying for it
Silock is free to start and has no ads on any plan. Silock Pro removes the limits, with a one-time Lifetime purchase or a monthly plan. That’s the whole business: you pay for the app, not with your data.
